Recent transparency notices
Every political ad in the EU must carry a public transparency notice.
A transparency notice is an official record attached to each political advertisement. Under Regulation (EU) 2024/900, it must clearly disclose who is behind the ad and how it reached you, so every citizen can see the same information.
Who paid
The sponsor or advertiser who funded the campaign, and on whose behalf it was published.
How much
The amount paid for the advertisement and the total spend behind the campaign.
Who it targeted
The targeting criteria used to decide who saw the ad, including any personal-data based targeting.
When & where
The publication period, the medium it ran on, and the election or legislative context it relates to.
The register exists so you can hold political advertising to account.

Seen a political ad that looks wrong?
If an advertisement seems to be missing its transparency notice, hides who paid for it, or may otherwise breach the Regulation, you can report it. Reports are reviewed by the competent authorities, filing a report is free of charge.
How reporting works
- Find the ad in the register, or note where and when you saw it.
- Tell us what looks wrong, missing sponsor, unclear funding, or suspicious targeting.
- The relevant authority reviews the report and can request action from the advertiser or publisher.
