Sub-processors used by PolAds.eu

Our authorisation to use sub-processors

The data processing agreement between STEP A/S and each data controller using PolAds.eu says:

The data processor has the data controller's general authorisation for the engagement of sub-processors. The data processor shall, on polads.eu and with at least one month's prior notice, notify the data controller of any planned changes concerning the addition or replacement of sub-processors, thereby giving the data controller the opportunity to object to such changes before the use of the relevant sub-processor(s). An updated list of sub-processors can be accessed via this link: polads.eu/DPA.

The list below is the updated list the agreement refers to.

Approved sub-processors

On commencement of the agreement, the data controller authorises the engagement of the following sub-processors.

Resend.com

Description of processing: Sending of system-generated emails, for example partner registration and PA-ID receipts. Emails are routed and sent from within the EU.
Where the data is stored: Email metadata, logs and API records are stored in the US.

Neon.com

Address: 160 Spear Street, 15th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105
Description of processing: Database for storing data collected in connection with political advertising and login information, cf. section A.3 of the agreement.
Where the data is stored: Data is stored within the EU.

Planned changes

No addition or replacement of a sub-processor is planned at present.

A planned addition or replacement is announced here at least one month before it takes effect, together with the date it was announced and the date it takes effect. The data controller may object to the change before the sub-processor concerned is used, by writing to the data processor's contact person named in the agreement.
